Every Country’s Cinema Is Dependent On Its Youth

For years, I thought of the subject of “Dressage” but because of financial situation, I couldn’t make it until I talked with Hamed Rajabi and he gave me the subject of making this film and started to write the script, then we made the film. In Berlinale we had 4 sessions of screenings and the movie hall was totally full.

In addition to the honor diploma that the festival gave us, the thing was important for me was that the people could communicate with families. Cineastes also liked the film contently and technically. When I saw that people especially mother and fathers be impressed by the film, I felt happy very much because I thought that reached to our goal in our story.

I hope, families watch and like it in Iran too and another point is that I hope the managers know this issue that speed and development of cinema of every country is dependent to the young generation especially directors with new attitudes like Reza Mirkarimi that has lots of knowledge about the world cinema and give importance to youth with global attitude.
